One of the best ways for skin care is concern about your diet habit.  In fact, our skin is a reflection of our inner health and well being.  If you want to have a glory healthy skin, you need to start with healthy diet, following the old adage “You are what you eat”.  This means what you put into your body will come out in your skin.

Most health articles focus on the role of a healthy diet on your skin care as well as maintaining an optimum internal health.  For example, a lot of articles talk about how the antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables can help in reducing free radical damage to our immune cells and our DNA.  Actually, these same groups of nutrients, vitamin and minerals that protect your inner health are equally important for skin care — radiant skin, strong nails, clear eyes and shining hair.

In conjunction with your skin care treatments, especially with ageLOC technology, you can follow the below healthy diet guidelines that will help in your skin care and skin health.

Essential fatty acids
Certain polyunsaturated oils are essential and must be included in our diet.  Our body needs these essential nutrients as they contain some fatty acids, named essential fatty acids (EPA) which are necessary for body health.  For example, EPA is essential to manufacture and repair cell membranes, help our cells to get maximum nutrition and eliminate harmful waste products.  Besides, EFA like omega-3 may reduce inflammation that can clog skin and lead to wrinkles.  Foods that good for our skin care include seafood such as salmon, sardines, trout and flounder as well as almonds, walnuts and flaxseed.
