You need to maintain a healthy skin to stay young and glowing. As skin is the outer covering of the body, it is better for us to understand skin structure before any skin care treatments applied. Besides, get some simple and natural skin care tips so that you can always have a glowing healthy skin.
1) Keep your Skin Hydrated and Moisturized
Hydration and moisturizing are very important for a healthy skin as they provide your skin with the nourishment it needs for a healthy glow. The benefits of hydration and moisturizing include:
- Provide a waterproof moisture barrier that minimizes the trans-epidermal water loss
- Support the collagen and elastin structures
- Protect the skin from the invasion of micro-organism, chemical irritants and allergens

2) Protect your Skin from Sunlight
The other important factor in keeping a healthy skin is to protect it against the harmful sunlight. If your skin complexion is from combination to oily, exfoliating 3 to 4 times a week is helping. For normal to dry skin, exfoliation should only be done maximum 1 to 2 times in a week. 5) Maintain a Balanced Hormone Secretion
