Eye make up also a very important step in make up as eyes have been called the windows of the soul and eye area is the first body part that shows age.  A good eye make up makes your eyes and face become alive and enhances individuality beauty.  Your eyes do not have to be a certain size or shape to be considered pretty because all eyes have their own unique beauty.

When eye make up is applied properly besides skin care treatments or products, you will not only feel good about yourself, but also have more confident in dealing things.  Below are some simple eye make up tips on application of eyes shadows, eyeliner, and mascara to create magic beautiful eyes ever their best beside vision eye care.

Eye Shadow

Eye shadow is meant to highlight and define the eyes in the eye make up.  We use eye shadow to create depth to bring out the beauty of the eyes.  A dark color used on the lid will make the eyes appear smaller, while a lighter color will make them look larger.  That is what eye shadow is about creating illusions in eye make up.

You can refer below basic techniques for the different eye shapes:

• Large eyes:  Use darker shadow on the lid and extend it to the crease. Use a flat color under the brow to highlight.
• Small eyes: Do not use too much shadow or liner for the eye make up because it will make your eyes look smaller.  You can apply a light color on eyelid, a darker color in the crease and use a highlighter under the brow.
• Deep-set eyes: Apply light color on the eyelid and under the brow, use a medium color in the crease and emphasize the outer corners with shadow.
• Wide-set eyes:  Use darker colors on the inner corners of the eye.
• Hooded eyes:  Apply light colors on the lid, use darker colors from the center of the eyelid to the outer corners and blend them so that it forms a smooth beautiful color range.
• Round eyes:  You can make round eyes longer by using color all around and extending toward the outer corners.
• Asian eyes:  Apply highlighter under the brow, use light shadow on the inner half of the lid and a darker color on the outer half and blend them.  Be careful with shimmer application in eye make up as they will bring attention to imperfections and wrinkles.

Eyeliners

Eyeliners are meant to define the eyes so they should do just that, not be the focal point of your eye make up.  Eyeliners come in various colors and forms such as liquid, pencil etc.  For the best look, please stick to black or brown color so that you can always keep the eyeliner natural.

You can use a sponge tip shadow applicator or an eye shadow brush for having smudged effect.  When your pencils are too soft refrigerate them.  When they are too hard soften them by holding them between your fingers.

To line the eye for eye make up, start on the lower lid, just beneath the lashes.  And always smudge the line with your sponge when you finish drawing the line.  Stay as close to the lash line as possible.  On the upper lid, draw a line form the inner corner to the outer corner, thickening the line toward the outer corner.  You can keep the line in between the lashes if you are at the age range of 40 years old.

Mascara

Mascara frames your eyes and can turn your face alive.  Mascara softly accentuates the eye while thickening and darkening the lashes; and it is the finishing touch for eyes.  There are several different types of mascara, ranging from thickening, waterproof to smudge proof.  Waterproof will need a special remover and smudge proof can be washed off easily.  It is not a good idea to wear waterproof mascara in your eye make up for extended periods of time since it has a tendency to dry the lashes.

You need to select a shade of mascara that complements your coloring.  Dark shades on pale eyes with brown lashes will darken them and will look harsh.  Stay away from blues and other colors since they will ruin your look.

You can use eyelash curler for lashes that are hard to curl.  For this type of lashes, simply curl your lashes and hold for ten to twenty seconds before you apply the mascara for the eye make up.

When you want to apply mascara, look straight into your mirror with your chin slightly lifted so you can see your lashes.  Insert the wand only once and twist, don’t pump.  Pumping can break the brush bristles and distribute the mascara unevenly and will dry out the mascara faster.  Start by rolling the wand from root to tip in an upward motion.  Reinsert the brush and apply again.  If your eyelashes are thick and long they may clunk together.  If this is the case, let them dry and then separate them with the corner of an eyebrow brush.

A simple and good eye make up can always add points to enhance the skin beauty and face appearance.  Of course, you have additional advantages if you use quality skin care treatments or products besides have skin care basic knowledge.  Lastly, choose correct skin care treatments or products based on your skin concern.
